DataInColour is a blog about data mining, data analysis and data visualization. More importantly, it is a collection of stories. It is stories, not data, that can touch us, entertain us and motivate us. The telling of stories with data is something I love to do, and this blog is where I share the stories found in my data projects.
My name is Lisa. I am a student at the University of Waterloo, Canada. I major in pure math and applied math, and have done four internships in silicon valley — two at the Facebook Data Science team, and two at startups as a software developer. Amidst all of that I found data mining and data visualization to be my true passion.
I keep a personal blog to write about random things, and use twitter to share links. You can find my resume here. You also can contact me at lisa [at] dataincolour [dot] com. I read and respond to all my emails, although I may be slow at times.
